We are currently open weekdays Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm. Earlier starts or later finishes can be arranged, please contact us for further details.
We are closed bank holidays, 2 weeks in the summer holidays, and during the short Christmas New year break.
Childcare Fees
Preschool fees are reviewed periodically.
Please get in touch for details on childcare fees we offer competitive rates and participate in a range of the government funding and childcare support schemes aimed at under 5s and older children.
We can accommodate fixed and flexible contracts.
Note that there is a minimum booking requirement of 2 days.
Fees and any charges are due by 15th of each month following the invoice date.
PLEASE NOTE:

15hrs and 30hrs funding is deducted from the invoice where applicable.

Late payment charges is 2% of the outstanding balance.

Late collection / Early drop off fees £15.00 per 15 minutes

Where a child is unable to attend but our service remains available full charges will be due. ( WHY? To cover staff, utility and other continued costs)

No charge is made for bank holidays staff training days or any unavoidable closure days.
Other Charges
Registration Fee: £75.00 Non-refundable and an advance two-week payment of childcare fees is required to process your application and to secure your child’s place. Unfortunately, if you later choose not to take up the allocated place, then this advance fee is non-refundable. The 2-week advance payment will be taken off your first invoice.
The cost of snacks (morning & afternoon) is charged in addition to the childcare fee at 75p per child per day.
Breakfast before 9am is free of charge.
A hot midday meal can be provided by our external supplier at a cost of £3.00 per child per day. Alternatively, you can bring a packed lunch for your child (please note we do not have the facility to reheat foods)
Consumables such as nappies, sun cream, wipes etc are chargeable items.

Saving Money on Childcare
Sibling Discount … A sibling discount of 5% is available when both children attend four days or more. The discount is applied to the older child.
Refer a friend receive £50 ... If you recommend a new child from a new family and they register at Watoto Pre-School for at least 3 days a week, you will receive £50 as a thank you. £50 cheque will be given to the referral family once the new child has attended for a minimum of 1 month. Reward only applicable when fee-paying children are introduced to Watoto Pre-School, unfortunately we cannot offer this to children who are only accessing the free early learning entitlement.
Childcare Vouchers … We accept childcare vouchers as part or full payment of childcare fees.
Tax Free Childcare … Tax-free Childcare is a government scheme that pays 20% of childcare costs up to a maximum of £2000 each year. The scheme is open to all parents of children under 12 (or under 17 if disabled). You can apply to open a tax-free childcare account online here
Care to Learn / Learners support ... Students attending sixth form or college may be able to access this funding to support childcare while studying, click here for more details.
