Opening Hours
We’re open Monday to Friday, from 8:00am to 6:00pm, providing a safe and welcoming space for your child throughout the day.
Childcare Fees
We review our preschool fees regularly to make sure we continue offering high-quality care at fair and competitive rates.
If you’d like to know more about our current fees, just get in touch—we’re always happy to help. We also take part in a variety of government funding and childcare support schemes for under-5s and older children.
We offer both fixed and flexible contracts to suit your family’s needs, with a minimum booking of 2 days per week.
All fees and charges are due monthly following the invoice date.
Other Charges
Registration Fee
To secure your child’s place, we ask for a £75 non-refundable registration fee along with a two-week advance payment of childcare fees. If you later decide not to take up the place, the advance payment is non-refundable, but once your child starts, it will be deducted from your first invoice
Breakfast
Breakfast is served before 9am and is completely free for all children
Snacks
We provide tasty morning and afternoon snacks at 75p per session
Lunch
A warm, nutritious midday meal can be ordered from our trusted external supplier for £3.00 per day. If you prefer, you’re welcome to send a packed lunch—just note that we’re unable to reheat food
Consumables
Everyday essentials such as nappies, wipes, and sun cream are charged separately when needed
Saving Money on Childcare
Sibling Discount
A sibling discount of 5% is available when both children attend four days or more. The discount is applied to the older child.
Refer a friend
Receive a £50 voucher, if you recommend a new child from a new family and they register at Watoto Pre-School for at least 3 days a week. £50 voucher will be given to the referral family once the new child has attended for a minimum of 1 month. Reward only applicable when fee-paying children are introduced to Watoto Pre-School, unfortunately we cannot offer this to children who are only accessing the free early learning entitlement.
Childcare Vouchers
We accept childcare vouchers as part or full payment of childcare fees.
Tax Free Childcare
Tax-free Childcare is a government scheme that pays 20% of childcare costs up to a maximum of £2000 each year. The scheme is open to all parents of children under 12 (or under 17 if disabled). You can apply to open a tax-free childcare account online here
Care to Learn/Learners Support
Students attending sixth form or college may be able to access this funding to support childcare while studying, click here for more details.
