Holiday Play Care
The Holiday Play Care offers a fun, happy and safe environment for children to play, learn and make new friends. A variety of activities are offered, including sports, cooking and creative arts. We have a generous outdoor space where children have access to the Pre-School allotment, the garden, and playground areas.
Children do not need to attend the Pre-School to be offered a place during the school holidays. We are open for almost all of the school holidays and have 24 places available each day. We offer full and half days/weeks and can be flexible to meet your needs.
Due to current demand, we are open 9am–4pm, we have the facility to consider earlier/later opening times if there is sufficient demand.
Remember to book early to avoid disappointment as places are limited and demand is always high!

How to book
If you would like to book your child's place, please complete this enquiry form
Not already registered with us and you don’t use the preschool normally?
We will contact you via phone to register your child’s details with us (contact details, medical and allergy information etc).
No booking will be fully confirmed until full payment is received, and the child registration is complete.

Fees
Play Care cost £7 per hour plus additional costs for any trips out we do. We request full payment for Holiday Play Care in advance.
Before the start of the Holiday Play Care session cancellations are acceptable if 4 weeks’ notice is given prior to the holiday Play Care start date.
Unfortunately, cancellations not meeting the 4 weeks’ notice are
non-refundable, this is because we will have put staff and resources in place for the number of children booked to attend Holiday Play Care.
Parents/carers attending the preschool the holiday play care costs will be included on your next invoice.
Please note sessions that are not attended are still charged.
We are registered to accept payment through the Government Tax-Free Childcare scheme. We are also able to accept payment through employer childcare vouchers schemes.

Lunchtime & Snacks
Snacks are inclusive during the Holiday Play Care sessions children will receive a healthy snack in the morning and in the afternoon.
Lunch can be provided for your child at a cost of £3 per day, or your child may prefer to bring a packed lunch … please ensure it is labelled and in a paper bag.
Please note we are a nut-free zone, we would appreciate if any small fruit such as grapes, cherries etc. were sliced before attending.
You must inform the Pre-School of any allergies/food intolerances.

What to bring
Suitable clothing for indoor and outdoor activities is required: sun hats & sun cream during warmer days, or warm clothing & a waterproof when the weather is cooler or more variable.
We suggest packing spare clothes that you don’t mind getting messy due to both our outdoor play philosophy and art & craft activities.
Please label all clothing and items being brought to the preschool.
Please bring a refillable water bottle, so we can ensure that everyone drinks plenty of water.
Make sure there is sun cream in their bag as we will be outside at every opportunity.
Note: If sun cream is not provided and is deemed necessary in order to protect your child, preschool sun cream will be supplied, and the charge will be added on to your bill.

Please inform the office or Holiday Play Care staff of any medical or contact details that have changed since you last attended.
If there are any aspects of Holiday Play Care you would like to discuss, please call Lisa on 0330 016 5668 between 8am – 4pm weekdays.
